Super Sour Skunk (Smalls)

Super Sour Skunk (Smalls)

Super Sour Skunk is a bold, terpene-heavy strain that combines the unmistakable funk of classic Skunk genetics with the sharp citrus character associated with Sour varieties. This cultivar is known for its loud, pungent aroma and distinctive flavour, bringing together tart lemon, skunky earth, herbal spice, and a layer of fuel that becomes even more pronounced when the buds are broken apart. The result is an old-school, flavour-packed smoke for enthusiasts who prefer intense, savoury terpene profiles over sweeter dessert-style strains. Super Sour Skunk offers plenty of personality from the first opening of the jar to the lingering finish.

Genetics & Background

Super Sour Skunk represents a meeting of two iconic cannabis flavour profiles: the sharp, citrus-forward character of Sour genetics and the unmistakable earthy funk of classic Skunk. This combination produces a cultivar with pronounced pungency, strong terpene expression, and a distinctive sour-skunk personality. Its profile leans heavily into traditional cannabis characteristics, making it an appealing choice for smokers who appreciate loud aromas, earthy complexity, and old-school skunk genetics.

Appearance & Aroma

Super Sour Skunk produces dense, resin-coated buds with excellent bag appeal. The flowers display vibrant shades of green accented by bright orange pistils and a generous layer of sparkling trichomes that gives the buds a frosted appearance. Sticky resin and tightly formed flowers contribute to its classic, well-finished look.

The aroma is intensely pungent and immediately recognizable. Sharp sour lemon and tart citrus lead the profile before giving way to classic skunky earth, herbal spice, and pungent fuel. Breaking apart the buds releases even louder notes of sour citrus, skunk, diesel, and peppery earth. The smoke carries the same bold character, delivering tart lemon and skunk on the inhale before finishing with earthy herbs, spice, and lingering fuel.
