Bellini (Smalls)

Bellini Strain

Bellini is a modern hybrid with an indulgent dessert-inspired terpene profile and the colourful, resin-rich appearance associated with premium contemporary cannabis genetics.

Its Purple Punch × Gelato 45 lineage brings together sweet fruit, creamy dessert, and subtle citrus characteristics, creating a smooth and layered flavour experience. Bellini is particularly appealing to smokers who enjoy fruit-forward cultivars with a creamy finish rather than intensely savoury or fuel-dominant profiles.

With its combination of exotic genetics, expressive terpenes, and balanced hybrid character, Bellini offers a polished smoking experience that feels both familiar and distinctly modern.

Genetics & Background

Bellini was originally created by The Cali Connection as a cross between Purple Punch × Gelato 45. The pairing brings together two highly recognizable modern cultivars, combining Purple Punch’s sweet fruit and dessert character with the creamy, exotic profile associated with Gelato 45.

This combination produces a hybrid that emphasizes flavour and terpene expression, with the resulting phenotype showcasing the rich dessert characteristics of its parent genetics.

The Cali Connection’s breeding work has helped establish Bellini as a distinctive selection for enthusiasts seeking a modern hybrid with strong fruit and cream influences.

Appearance & Aroma

Bellini produces dense, resin-coated flowers with excellent hybrid structure and strong visual appeal. The buds showcase vibrant green tones accented by darker purple hues, bright orange pistils, and a generous coating of sparkling trichomes that gives the flowers a frosted appearance.

The aroma is sweet, fruity, and creamy, with ripe fruit and sugary dessert notes leading the profile. Subtle citrus and floral nuances add brightness, while the Gelato influence brings a rich creamy character that rounds out the sweeter Purple Punch notes.

The smoke carries this same dessert-forward personality, delivering sweet fruit and creamy citrus on the inhale before developing into rich candy, soft floral notes, and lingering sweetness on the exhale.

Terpene Profile

• Caryophyllene – Adds subtle peppery spice and earthy depth beneath the sweeter fruit and dessert characteristics.
• Limonene – Contributes bright citrus notes that enhance the fruity side of the cultivar.
• Myrcene – Provides soft earthy and fruity depth while complementing the strain’s relaxing character.
• Linalool – Adds delicate floral sweetness that helps round out the creamy dessert profile.
